What to Expect


It is important that the therapeutic experience as comfortable as possible. Knowing what to expect can often ease the mind.

Schedule a time to discuss what brings you to consider therapy and get a feel for the therapists style.  A free 15-minute phone consultation is offered to discuss your concerns and determine if an appointment would be beneficial for you, your teen, or your family.

You can often tell over the phone, in as little as 15 minutes, if it is a good fit for you.  

After scheduling an appointment, Jennifer will send you the necessary paperwork via email or you may download them from this website.

Before coming in for your first appt please review and complete the forms. If they are completed prior to the appointment it will ensure that our time can be spent discussing your concerns. 

The first appointment is mostly learning about you; discussing hopes, dreams, goals... and a plan of how to get there.
